Bell is a multi-instrumentalist and frontwoman who adds a unique melodic touch to all her projects. Her most recent release is Love Is Alright (2019, Both Sides Now!) recorded in San Francisco by Jason Quever of The Papercuts. Love Is Alright harkens back to 1970s fare, vocally recalling Judee Sill or Melanie Safka, while the arrangements that occasionally reflect the work of Melissa Manchester, Carly Simon, and even the occasional nod to ABBA.
Bell has lived in Missoula, Montana since 2013. She plays live with her longtime bandmates as The Sasha Bell Band. She is working on a new album due out in Spring 2025.
